Srinagar, Jan 28: Flight operations at Srinagar International Airport resumed on Wednesday, a day after heavy snowfall forced the cancellation of all services, officials said.
The first flight landed at 9:25 am, and authorities expect normal operations to continue throughout the day if weather conditions remain stable.
“The runway, taxiway, and apron have been cleared of snow and are ready for use,” the Airport Authority of India (AAI) said in a statement.
However, visibility remains low due to haze, and passengers are advised to expect possible delays during the initial phase of operations.
Airline and airport authorities are closely monitoring the situation, and passengers are urged to follow official airline communications for updates.
