As per the reports, the sleuths of Enforcement Directorate carried out raids at 25 locations across Delhi and other places, including at the Okhla office of Al-Falah University, located in Faridabad.
The raids are in full swing with further details awaited.
It is learnt that the Al Falah University came under intense examination following the arrest of several doctors in connection with November 10 blast which claimed 15 lives and injured several. The suicide bomber, Dr Umar Un Nabi was associated with the university.
Additionally, the Delhi Police Crime Branch will question Al Falah University founder Jawad vis-a-vis two FIRs registered against the university.
On Monday, the National Investigation Agency (NIA) apprehended another key associate of the terrorist Jasir Bilal Wani, alias Danish involved in the blast, who had allegedly “provided technical support for carrying out terror attacks by modifying drones and attempting to make rockets” ahead of the car blast attack.
In a statement, the NIA said, “Jasir Wani had allegedly provided technical support for carrying out terror attacks by modifying drones and attempting to make rockets ahead of the deadly car bomb blast which killed 15 persons and several injured.”
Pertinent to mention, a major lead emerged after a large haul of weapons, including a Krinkov rifle and a pistol, was recovered from the car of Dr Shaheen, a key suspect in the case.
