Rudra Dance & Fitness Studio celebrates Annual Function “Nritya Sandhya”

JAMMU: Rudra Dance & Fitness Studio celebrated its Annual Function titled “Nritya Sandhya” with grandeur and enthusiasm at the Abhinav Theatre on Monday.
The event was graced by Chief Guests Dr. Javaid Rahi, Secretary, Kala Kendra Society J&K and Priya Sethi, Vice President BJP and former Minister.
Ajay Bharti Organization General Secretary from Sankrat Bharati and Pt Narayan Prasad, renowned teacher of Kathak from Jammu were also present on the occasion.
Both the dignitaries lauded the efforts of the studio and its young performers.
Speaking on the occasion, Priya Sethi said, “It is heartening to witness such incredible talent and cultural richness nurtured by platforms like Rudra Dance & Fitness Studio. This annual function is not just a display of dance but a reflection of India’s vibrant cultural ethos.”
“Cultural events like ‘Nritya Sandhya’ beautifully reflect India’s unity in diversity. They not only celebrate our rich heritage but also foster communal harmony and national pride,” she said.
“I extend my heartfelt appreciation to the organizers and students of the studio for putting together such a spectacular evening,” she added.
“Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of a ‘Viksit Bharat’ includes empowering youth through art, culture, and fitness, and today’s event truly embodies that vision,” Priya Sethi said and added, “The energy, discipline, and passion shown by the participants reaffirm that our youth are moving in the right direction.”
Dr Rahi while appreciating the initiative, said, “Art and culture are powerful tools that connect generations and communities. Rudra Dance & Fitness Studio’s initiative to blend Bollywood vibrancy with classical discipline is commendable,” he sas said.
“Events like ‘Nritya Sandhya’ serve as platforms for young artists to not only perform but also understand their roots. The dedication of the organizers and trainers is visible in the excellence of these performances,” he added.
Hemani Kapoor Mahajan, founder of Rudra Dance & Fitness Studio said, “Established five years ago, Rudra Dance & Fitness Studio is dedicated to promoting cultural heritage and spreading joy through the performing arts and wellness activities.”
Hemani, a nationally recognized Kathak dancer who has proudly represented Jammu at various prestigious platforms, said the studio has become a hub for both artistic and physical development.
“The academy offers a diverse curriculum including classical Kathak, Bollywood freestyle dance, and fitness programs such as Zumba and Yoga. Rudra Dance Studio is committed to nurturing talent, preserving Indian culture, and fostering a healthy, vibrant community,” she added.
Hemani expressed gratitude to the guests, parents, and participants for their support and contribution to the studio’s journey.
