MARCH 24: In a significant effort to combat terrorism, security forces busted a terror hideout in Anantnag district of Jammu and Kashmir.
A joint team of Special Operations Group (SOG) Anantnag, 19 Rashtriya Rifles (RR), and Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) busted terrorist hideout in higher reaches of Sanglan forest in Anantnag.
Following the specific inputs, security forces launched a search operation in forest resulting in recovery of hideout.
The items recovered were 200 empty AK Cartridges, 2 Gas Cylinders, one Chinese Grenade, one Night Vision Device (NVD), utensils and food packets.
Anantnag Police has asked the citizens to be vigilant and report if any suspicious activities occur around.
