Truck crushes girl to death at Panama Chowk

Jammu, August 6: In a very awful accident reported at Panama Chowk of Jammu city, a girl died after she was crushed to death by a truck here.

As per reports, the girl has been identified as Nisha Sharma, daughter of Mr Punnu Lal Sharma and a resident of Gurha Bakshi Nagar. She was only 24 years old and used to work as an Operation theatre technician in the Department of Health Services.

The accident took place late this afternoon when she was going back home from work on her scooty which got hit by a speeding truck resulting in on the spot death of girl.

As per police, the truck driver and the cleaner have managed to escape and a manhunt has been launched to apprehend them.
