Horticulture Department Samba organizes one day Farmers Awareness Camp

SAMBA, DECEMBER 12: Horticulture Department Samba organized one day Farmers Awareness Camp at village Chack Chhataka (Nandpur), Block Ramgarh District Samba under CAPEX budget 2019-20.
On the occasion, Chief Horticulture Officer Samba Anil Kumar Gorka informed the gathering in detail about the developmental activities of the CSS and CAPEX of the Department and gave thrust on them to get benefits of these schemes especially on plantation of new gardens, rejuvenation of old orchards, farm mechanization, creation of irrigation sources, organic farming, protected cultivation & INM/IPM.
Chairman of Block Development Council Ramgarh Darshan Singh,more than 250 farmers from the adjoining panchayats, scientist from KVK Samba, representatives from the line Departments like Agriculture, Animal Husbandry, Sheep Husbandry, Fisheries, Development Officer Viajypur, Samba, Ghagwal, PRIs, officers and staff members of the concerned department attended the camp.
