DDC Pulwama conducted public outreach programme in Awantipora

Directed officers for timely redressal of public grievances

PULWAMA, DECEMBER 11: Continuing its Public Outreach programme District Development Commissioner Pulwama Dr Raghav Langer today conducted a public Darbar here at Town Hall Awantipora.
During the Darbar, several delegations and individuals of the area raised their grievances and put forth demands.
A delegation of Awantipora raised the issue of up-gradation of PHC centre, rehabilitation of households whose land came under approach road to AIIMS and IUST, starting construction work on GDC, introducing professional courses in GDC and development of playground in the area.
Residents of Padgampora and Larve Tral demanded widening of Padgampora-Naina road, up-gradation of transformer and repair of LT lines and Poles in their respective areas.
Civil Society K.Koot demanded free toll plaza, drinking water and electricity facility. While a group of youth associated with Squay and Martial Art demanded sponsorship from administration.
The deputations of Village Noorpora, Mandikpal and Chersoo demanded approach road to paddy fields, macdamization of link roads and upgradation of middle school.
Similarly, delegations from Mandikpal and Chersoo villages raised the issue related to drinking water supply, sub centre for sheep husbandry and foot bridge at Watal Ara in their respective areas.
DDC gave patient hearing to the issues and demands of people and assured timely redressal of all genuine demands.
Later, DDC also inspected a spring at Nag Mohalla and directed concerned officer for its renovation.
