DLSA observes ‘world Human Rights Day’ in Srinagar

SRINAGAR, DECEMBER 10: District Legal Services Authority (DLSA), Srinagar today observed “World Human Rights Day” here at ADR Centre, District Court complex Srinagar.
During the programme advocates from Legal Services Authority enlightened the audience about the ‘World Human Rights Day’ which is observed throughout the world on 10th December.
Secretary, DLSA, Adnan Saeed, Assistant Directors, AIDS Control Society, Imtiyaz Ahmed Khan and Imran Ahmed Rah, lawyers associated with DLSA, para legal volunteers, anganwadi workers and other concerned attended the programme.
Earlier a separate workshop was organized to observe World HIV/ AIDS day during which the experts enlightened participants about causes, prevention and control of the infection.
Secretary, DLSA spoke on the role of Legal Aid Clinics in spreading awareness about the disease and providing Free Legal Assistance to the infected people.
Question and answer session was also held in which Para Legal Volunteers, Anganwadi Workers and other participants actively participated.
Secretary DLSA stressed upon spreading awareness among the people regarding the disease.
