Reviews functioning of Health Department

BUDGAM, DECEMBER 09: Reviewing referrals and daily admission of patients at Health Centers of the district, the Deputy Commissioner, Budgam, Tariq Hussain Ganai today said that under Ayushman Bharat, 52282 beneficiaries have been registered so far while 43255 golden cards have been issued.
The District Development Commissioner today speaking in a meeting convened to review functioning of Health Department.
The meeting also discussed about functioning of the District Hospital Budgam and the DDC was appraised about the need for various diagnostic machinery including installation of C.T Scan, Dialysis Centre, ECHO Facility, Colonoscopy and Phaco Machine at the hospital.
The concerned BMOs also demanded up-gradation of healthcare facilities at their respective health institutions.
After listening to the demands of the BMOs, the DDC ensured that he would take up the matter with the concerned.
