DLSA Pulwama celebrates Children’s Day

PULWAMA, NOVEMBER 14: District Legal Services Authority Pulwama, today organised a function here at court complex to celebrate the Children’s day in commemoration with the birthday of India’s first Prime Minster Pt. Jawharlal Nehru.
Principal District and Sessions Judge, Muhammad Ibraheim Wani, who is also the chairman of the Authority, was the chief guest on the occasion.
Speaking on the occasion, Principal & Session Judge discussed in detail the ‘Child Rights and Child Abuse.’
He underscored some statues and Acts under law to promote child rights including right to survival, right to development, Juvenile Justice Act ,Child labour Act. Secretary DLSA Khurshid-ul-Islam also spoke on the occasion. Members of Bar Association among others participated in the function.
