DDC conducted extensive tour of Kulgam

KULGAM, NOVEMBER 11: District Deputy Commissioner (DDC) Kulgam Showkat Aijaz Bhat along with ADC and other officers today conducted an extensive tour of district Kulgam to assess the quantum of damage caused to horticulture sector due to recent snowfall.
During his visit to Nihama, Ramhama and other villages, several delegations informed him about the damage caused to their orchards.
The DDC said that teams have been constituted for assessment of damage caused the orchards. He also visited various areas in the district to take stock of availability of essentials there and interacted with the locals and assured that all essentials and basic facilities will be provided to the them.
Later he visited Primary Health Centre Nihama where he took stock of patient care at the hospital. He also inspected various wards of the hospital and took stock of the medicines available at the there.
