DDC inaugurates MIS counter at Kulgam

KULGAM, OCTOBER 16 - DDC Kulgam Showkat Aijaz Bhat along with representatives of NAFED today inaugurated counter of Market intervention Scheme (MIS) at Fruit Mandi Kulgam for procurement of apple produce.
Present on the occasion were ADC, CHO, DySP Hqr and other officers besides members of fruit growers association Kulgam.
Speaking on the occasion DDC said that under the market intervention scheme the NAFED will procure apples from the fruit growers directly on already approved rates. He urged the fruit growers to register themselves under the scheme so the NAFED will procure their apple produce at fruit mandi Kulgam and the payment will be credited directly to the accounts of fruit growers through DBT.
The fruit growers applauded the step of government for introducing MIS counter at the fruit mandi Kulgam.
