DDC meets members of BS&G Udhampur

UDHAMPUR, SEPTEMBER 17: District Development Commissioner, Udhampur Dr. Piyush Singla today met with the members of Bharat Scouts and Guides unit Udhampur to know about its activities.
District Commissioner, J&K Bharat Scouts and Guide Ashok Kumar informed that around 1000 Scouts and guides have been registered in different government as well as private educational institutions of the district. He added that in J&K District Udhampur is on the top position in different scouts and guides activities.
Detailed discussion was held on enhancement of registration of Scouts & Guides unit in Government and Private Schools, forth coming activities, Advance course for eligible teachers, Celebration of Gandhi Jayanti, deployment of staff and mobilization of the departments to draw their support and cooperation.
The DDC appreciated the members of the unit for organizing this introductory meeting. He sought the cooperation of Scouts and Guides for effective implementation of ongoing Swachhta hi Sewa campaign. He assured all possible help from the District Administration to BS&G.
