District Level Consultative meet on Ageing with dignity held in Kishtwar

KISHTWAR, JUNE 12: District Legal Services Authority Kishtwar in collaboration with District Administration today conducted district level consultative meet on "Ageing with Dignity" being held in connection with "World Elder Abuse Awareness Day".
The consultative meet was organized as per the schedule issued by Secretary District Legal Services Authority Kishtwar Munish K. Manhas (Munsif/JMIC Kishtwar) under the guidance of Incharge Chairman, District Legal Services Authority Kishtwar.
The meet was presided over by Additional District Development Commissioner Kishtwar Mohd Hanief Malik.
District Social Welfare Officer Kishtwar, Retainer Lawyer, Advocates besides other speakers sensitized the participants about the rights of the parents and Senior Citizens as well as the duties and obligations regarding their Care, Protection and respect.
Other officers and officials present on the occasion were Dr. Mohd Yaqoob Mir, Deputy CMO Kishtwar, S. D. Atri, Medical Superintendent Kishtwar, Horticulture Development Officer, Tehsil Social Welfare Officers Kishtwar & Marwah ICDS Officials of Kishtwar, officials of Mahila Shakti Kendra Kishtwar, J&K Bank Manager besides PLVs of DLSA Kishtwar were also present.
