EVM, VVPAT awareness campaign gains momentum in Kishtwar

KISHTWAR, MARCH 20: The awareness campaign launched by Kishtwar district administration to sensitize voters about the functioning of Electronic voting machines (EVM) along with Voter-verifiable paper audit trail (VVPT) is gaining momentum in the district.
The programme is being carried out on the instructions and directions of District Election Officer, Angrez Singh Rana, while as Nodal Officer SVEEP Anoop Sharma and Pardeep Koul are overseeing the campaign to make it a great success.
Various programmes were organized in the Tehsils of Nagseni, Padder and Kishtwar, while a large number of polling stations were covered in Kishtwar Tehsil during the last two days.
The awareness on EVM, VVPAT in Kishtwar Tehsil was provided by master trainers Sunil Kumar and Tariq Tapal.

The awareness programme on EVM, VVPAT was also taken to Tehsil Nagseni by master trainers: Manoj Badyal and Ajaz Akhoon in an effective manner where common masses especially the first-time voters showed keen interest.
The campaign is on in Padder Tehsil of the district for the last 5 days. The master trainers Girdhari Lal, Tenzen Sambial, Rishi Kumar and Tenzen Tundup are discharging their duty on the awareness front.
