PCPG Meeting held in Bishnah

Jammu, Mar 16: With a view to strengthen police public relations and also to establish first hand contact with masses, a Public Interaction Meeting was held at Green View Palace Bishnah in which Chairman MC Bishnah, Vice Chairman Bishnah, Sarpanches, Panches, Namberdars, Chowkidars and prominent citizens of Bishnah Tehsil attended the meeting.

The meeting was chaired by Shri Farooq Qaiser, JKPS, SP Hqtrs Jammu along with SDPO R.S.Pura Sh. Sourabh Prashar, JKPS, Tehsildar Bishnah Sh Raman Kumar and SHO Bishnah Insp Rattan Singh Rana. At the very outset of the meeting, Police appreciated the presence of all participants and briefed them regarding the purpose behind such Police Public meetings. Participants were asked to maintain communal harmony, remain united for the welfare of society and maintain a peaceful atmosphere in the area. They were also requested to immediately bring any suspicious activity into the notice of Police. Various speakers on the occasion welcomed the Police for holding this interactive session, appreciated the role of Police in the area and also put forth their demands.

At the end of the meeting, SP Hqtrs Jammu assured all the participants that their genuine demands/grievances will be forwarded to the higher formations for its redressal on a priority basis. The participants have been assured that such a meeting will also be conducted in the future as well.
