30th road safety week: Pulwama Police distribute Helmets among Motor Cycle Riders

PULWAMA, FEBUARY 10: 30th road safety week concluded today all across and in this connection Pulwama Police took an unique initiative and distributed free helmets among the motor cycle riders who were riding without helmets. The idea was to make riders aware of the fact that most of the road accidents worldwide happen on motor cycles and the chances of loss of life in such accidents is the highest as there is no safety.
Speaking on the occasion, SSP Pulwama said that the objective of this initiative is to inculcate behavioural change amongst two wheel riders and make helmet wearing intrinsic to their lifestyle.
On the occasion, locals hailed this step of Pulwama police and stressed that these initiatives should continue in future as well.
