DDC Poonch for implementation of PM-KSN

POONCH, FEBRUARY 10: District Development Commissioner Poonch Rahul Yadav Sunday chaired a meeting of SDMs, Tehsildars and concerned district officers for the implementation of Pardhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yoajna.
The meeting was attended by ADC Krishan Lal, ACR, B A Lone, SDM Surankote, Tehsildars, agricultural employees and patwaris.
During the meeting the officers were sensitised about the central scheme.
DDC Poonch gave instructions to all the officers to spread awareness about the said scheme in their respective areas so that maximum beneficiaries could be registered.
It was also informed in the meeting that enrollment process has to be completed by 22 Feb so that first installment may be made to beneficiaries by 1st March.
It was also informed that under this scheme all small and marginal farmers with cultivable land less than 40 kanal are eligible and will be provided with financial assistance of Rs. 6000 per year directly in their accounts.
The DDC appealed the public to come forward and enroll themselves with proper information. The beneficiaries can enroll themselves by producing account number, bank ifsc code and Aadhaar/ID card number.
