DDC Kulgam reviews Special Development Plan

KULGAM, FEBRUARY 06 District Development Commissioner Dr Shamim Ahmad Wani today chaired a meeting of officers to review the Special Development Plan for Kulgam.
The meeting was attended by CPO Kulgam, ADC, EXEN, R&B, PHE, and District and sectoral officers, BDOs of all blocks of Kulgam.
A comprehensive review of all the sectors was conducted by DDC wherein the department heads made a detailed presentation about developmental works undertaken in departments.
It was given out in the meeting that 64 works have been undertaken under special development plan and 24 works are executed by RDD with an estimated cost of Rs 1.10 crore, whereas 06 works are at final stage of completion. The meeting was also informed that a major flood protection bund is under construction at Zangalpora in convergence mode.
While reviewing PDD, DDC was informed that PDD has completed the project and has successfully created transformer bank.
It was also given out in the meeting that work on the protection boundary wall at mini-secretariat has been completed with an estimated cost of 23 lakhs.
Chief Animal Husbandry Officer detailed about the status of work projects in the department and informed the meeting that Artificial Breeding Station has been fully installed will all required equipments.
The DDC passed on the strict direction to the officers to complete the work projects before 15 February.
