Snow avalanche in Leh, rescue teams rushed
Srinagar, Jan 18 :A snow avalanche hit an area in Leh in Ladakh region of Jammu and Kashmir on early Friday morning, official sources said.
They said a huge snow avalanche hit Garondnikla in Leh early this morning. Some people are reportedly trapped, they said, adding rescue teams have been rushed from nearby areas.
Helicopters have also been rushed to the spot to rescue the trapped people, they said adding further details are awaited.
