CAO Rajouri cancels "Fertilizer licenses" of 11 dealers for not using POS devices.

In order to make proper implementation of POS (Point of Sale) devices across all the centres in the district, Mr.Mohd. Younis Chowdhry, Chief Agriculture Officer (CAO), Rajouri cancelled the fertilizer license of eleven dealers/ retailers of district Rajouri under notification no.Dev-3/2018-19/4749-57 dated 10-01-2019.
Mr.Chowdhry also instructed The Sub Divisional Agriculture Officers (SDAO) of Rajouri, Dharal , Kalakote, Budhal, Nowshera to take further action in this regard with immediate effect as recommended by Assistant Director, Law Enforcement, Jammu vide letter No.ADLE-J/2018-19/1912-33 dated 13-12-2018.
The dealers whose licenses were cancelled were Asif Iqbal from Saimsamith, Rajouri, Azeem Sarwar from Kote Behrote (Thanamandi),Digpal Sharma,Tredu (Mogla),Farhad Ahmed, Rajdhani (Thanamandi),Imran Khan, Sambal Gahi ( Kalakote), Manmohan Sharma, Thuddi (Rajouri) , Mohd Kasim, Panghai (Thanamandi) , Mohd Safer , Rajdhani (Thanamandi) , Mushtaq Ahmed , Sokar (Kotranka), Shokat Javaid, Hasplote ( Thanamandi) and Zahid Abass , Bhendi ( Rajouri).
Talking exclusively to The News Now, Mr.Mohd.Younis Chowdhry, Chief Agriculture Officer, Rajouri said that for the last six months we have been continously informed all the dealers, through our concerned SDAOs,for using POS devices effectively but instead of our repetitive efforts, some of the dealers were not using those devices and ultimately we took action against them and cancelled their licenses atlast.
"We have distributed around 171 POS devices across all the centres in the district and if we found similar kind of cases in comming days, more such actions would be taken in future too against error dealers",he added and futher quoted that the devices we have received from defaulters would be given to other licence holders those didn't get earlier.
