2 huts gutted in fire at CRPF camp in Srinagar
Srinagar, Jan 11: A devastating fire reduced to ashes two huts of a Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) camp on the city outskirts, official sources said.
The blaze broke out at the CRPF camp at Zainakote, about 10 km from here on Thursday. However, before the fire could be brought under control, two huts, being used for dry canteen, were damaged.
A Fire and Emergency (F&E) department official said the loss could be over Rs ten.
He said fire tenders were rushed to the spot and the blaze was brought under control. The cause of fire was not known, he said.
