Mumbai trekker dies of cardiac arrest in Ladakh

Srinagar, Jan 10: A Mumbai resident died of cardiac arrest during Chadar Trek in Ladakh region, officials said Thursday.

Daval Suresh Shah suffered a massive heart attack near Tibb Cave on Chadar Trek in Leh.

“The body of Shah was found when the Indian Air Force (IAF) launched a rescue operation this morning,” they added.

Kashmir Divisional Commissioner Baseer Khan has asked the Deputy Commissioner, Leh, to complete legal formalities so that the body can be sent to Mumbai.
