DDC Doda holds Public Grievances Redressal Camp at Bhella

Inaugurates CFC training hall, Mini Kissan Mela

DODA, JANUARY 09- With a view to take administration to the doorsteps of the people, District Development Commissioner, Anshul Garg, convened a public grievances redressal camp at Bhella.
Sarpanchs, Panchs and large number of people from Bhella, Panshie, Chagsoo, Puneja, Chiralla and adjoining areas of Bhella turned up at the camp and projected their issues demanding early redressal to the same.
The people apprised the DDC of various problems being faced by them which included road blacktopping, augmentation of water and power supply, healthcare, upgradation of schools, use of land available with the agriculture department besides other demands.
DDC directed the concerned officers to take necessary action for immediate redressal of the grievances projected by the people.
DDC asked the officers to organize awareness camps regularly in the far flung and inaccessible areas to make people aware regarding various welfare schemes so that benefits of these schemes percolate down to the grass root level.
DDC also highlighted the ongoing process of special summary revision in the district and appealed all to register themselves as voters who are 18 years or above as on 1st January 2019.
Later, the DDC inaugurated one day Kissan Mela/ Gosthi at Bhella organized by the Horticulture Department in collaboration with agriculture and allied departments.
More than 150 progressive farmers and orchardists participated in the Mela.
Meanwhile, the DDC also inspected new Girls Hostel building at Government Higher Secondary School Bhella and directed the concerned agency to expedite work for timely completion.
He also inaugurated a CFC cum Training Hall constructed by the Department of Rural Development and Panchayat Raj at Bhella which has been constructed under 13th FC 2016-17 with a cost of Rs. 52.11 lakh.
Sub Division Magistrate, Thathri, Varunjeet Charak, Chief Planning Officer Parshotam Kumar, Block Development Officer, Mohd Rafie Naik, Chief Horticulture Officer, Madan Lal, District Information Officer, Chief Agriculture Officer, Tehsildar and various officers were present on the occasion.
