Jammu: 70-yr-old murdered

Jammu, Jan 9: A 70-yr-old man was allegedly murdered in Digiana area here on city outskirts, police said.

"A man identified as Sudesh Gupta, son of Mool Chand Gupta, resident of Extension Sanjay Nagar was "strangulated" to death at his house early morning on Wednesday," police here said.

They said that initially "money issue" has come to fore but the matter is being investigated.

"We have started the investigations and it seems some "money related issue" is behind an offence but we are on job," DySP Dr Summaiya Wani, SDPO South said.
