DC Jmu reviews Special Summary Revision of Electoral Rolls

JAMMU, DECEMBER 17: Deputy Commissioner, Ramesh Kumar, who is also the District Election Officer, today chaired a meeting of AROs and AEROs to review the progress achieved under Special Summary Revision of Electoral Rolls - 2018 in the district.
The meeting was attended by ACR Jammu, Sanjay Kumar Badyal, Secretary JMC (ERO-73), Sunaina Sharma besides EROs and AEROs of the district.
The DC reviewed the progress on additions made till date and directed for speedy registration of left out voters in their areas. He highlighted the importance of Special Summary Revision and directed for door to door survey to ensure the registration of all voters. He asked the EROs to ensure full registration of voters under Special Summary Revision. He also asked the concerned that deletions should be done after proper verifications from concerned SHOs.
He directed the EROs for properly verification of Duplicate voters, image missing, voter with duplicate image and duplicate EPIC Numbers.
