Cleanliness drive under ‘Swachhta Hi Seva’ held at Udhampur

UDHAMPUR: As a part of the celebration of ongoing ‘Swachhta Hi Seva’ campaign a joint sanitation drive was conducted by District Information Center, Udhampur in which local shopkeepers, employees of Information department and Municipalities participated.
The sanitation drive was held at Ward Number 2 here today.
District Information Officers, Sajad Bashir Somberia while interacting with shopkeepers and prominent citizens of the ward asked them to create massive awareness about Nationwide Sanitation 'Swachhta Hi Seva' campaign.
While emphasizing on attitudinal change among all the stakeholders towards achieving the goal of making India a clean and healthy nation, he appealed the people to keep cleanliness not only in their houses but in their nearby areas also.
On the occasion, employees of DIC conducted an extensive cleanliness drive in and around the office premises also.
