Driver seriously injured in Truck collision near Awantipora

Srinagar, Sep 14: Driver of a truck was seriously injured on Friday when it collided with another truck on the Srinagar-Jammu highway near Awantipora, sources said.

SHO Awantipora Madassir Naseer told that the accident took place near Lethpora area of Awantipora after a truck bearing registration number JK05C- 2924 driven by Mohammad Amin Dar son of Ghulam Nabi Dar resident of Sangergund Sopore collided with another Truck bearing registration number no PB05AB- 6593 driven by Mewa Singh son of Sadhu Singh resident of Nama Chiwa Gurdaspur Punjab.

The collision resulted in injuries to driver Mohammad Amin Dar, who was shifted to SDH Pampore where from he was referred to SKIMS Soura for advanced treatment.
