Boy drowns in Jehlum in south Kashmir
Srinagar, July 20: A boy drowned in river Jehlum at south Kashmir district of Pulwama, official sources said here on Friday.
They said Amir Ahmad drowned in the river at Lelhara, Kakpora of Awantipora in Pulwama.
Those present in the area jumped into the river, but could not save the boy.
Later, Amir's body was fished out and handed over to his next of kin for last rites, they added.
