DG F&E Services inaugurates workshop

JAMMU: Director General, Fire and Emergency Services, Dilbag Singh today inaugurated range workshop and stores at Gangyal.
The building has been constructed at a cost of Rs. 1.37 crore by Police Housing Corporation.
Speaking on the occasion, Dilbag Singh said that the work of department depends upon the machines which require timely maintenance and services. He said that this is a provincial level workshop where all the vehicles and machinery of the department of Jammu province would be maintained.
DG also said that there is an adequate capacity of stores in which stock of all types of spare parts of the machineries and uniforms will be available.
Dilbag Singh also inspected various sections in the building which includes repairing, carpenter, painting, air compression, hose binding and electrical sections.
Later, D G inspected disaster tools which are used in any type of emergency.
Among others Deputy Directors, Jammu and Ramban Commands, Ramesh Raina and GL Pandita, Medical Officer, Dr. Anita Salgotra, officials of Police Housing Corporation Jammu besides employees of Fire and Emergency Services were present on the occasion.
