Carpenter falls to death from rooftop in Kashmir

Srinagar, Jul 15: A carpenter fell to his death when he suddenly slipped from a rooftop of an under construction building for a hospital in the central Badgam, official sources said on Sunday.

They said a group of workers were working on rooftop of under construction hospital building in Badgam when a carpenter identified as Mudasir Gani Wagay suddenly slipped and fell to his death.

However, other workers immediately shifted him to local hospital where doctors declared him brought dead.

Police have registered a case and taken up the investigation, they said.
