2 Killed, Six injured in cross border firing at Village Glar in Samba sector

SAMBA: Two people killed including nine year old Boy while another six person critical injured in heavy mortar shelling by Pakistani ranger at Village Glar in Samba sector here today.

The decease has been identified as Shamo Devi wife of Gorkha and Krishana 8 Son of Vijay Kumar and the injured is identified as Champa Wife of Vijay, Pari Devi daughter of Bal Krishan, Shivam Son of Bal Krishan, Pooja Devi wife of Bal Krishan and Shiv Raj Son of Vijay Kumar all resident of Village Glar camp of district Samba.

According to the sources, today morning at around 8 am the Pakistani rangers started heavy mortar shelling in border villages of samba district and targeted the civilian areas. During the cross border firing some mortar shell fired by Pakistani rangers landed in village Glarh camp resulting the seven person of the different families of the village Glar camp and Bainglar are critical injured but the local people evacuated to all of them and shifted to District Hospital Samba but where doctor declared for two person and the critical injured are refer to Government Medical College Hospital Jammu for treatment. The bodies of the nine year old boy and the female were shifted to Mortuary room of District Hospital Samba for autopsy.

The firing continues from both sides in District Samba.
