Eight shops burgled in south Kashmir

Srinagar, Mar15 : Goods worth lakhs of rupees were burgled during the intervening night of Wednesday and Thursday in south Kashmir district of Shopian, official sources said.

They said burglars broke into eight shops at village Adhekhar and looted goods and cash worth lakhs of rupees.
Burglars on Wednesday night looted eight shops in Adekhar area of Imamsahab tehsil in Shopian district of south Kashmir.

However, shopkeepers of entire market hit the streets and protested against the incident. The agitated shopkeepers blocked Bijbehara-Shopian road . However, late they allowed traffic after police registered a case and assured proper and speedy investigation.
