JAMMU: Activists of Dogra Front and Shiv Sena (DF&SS) led by its president Ashok Gupta today took out a protest rally to slam former Congress leader Mani Shankar Aiyer for his casteist remark against the Prime Minister, Narendra Modi.
The former Congress leader had called the Prime Minister, Narendra Modi a “Neech Aadmi” (Vile Man) who does “dirty politics.”
The DF and SS activists said that Mani Shankar Aiyar's "Neech Aadmi" remark against Prime Minister Narendra Modi is an "insult" to the poor as well as B R Ambedkar.
“There is very deplorable and feudal mindset behind this condemnable observation,” Ashok Gupta, the DF& SS president said.
He further stated that earlier at the time of 2014 election campaigns the same person had termed the Prime Minister as the Chaiwala as he went on saying that he would provide Modi a little space at the congress convention to distribute tea.
Gupta said Aiyer has challenged the weaker and backward sections of India by calling the prime minister 'neech'.
He further stated that there was a time when being in the opposition Atal Behari Vajpayee termed the then Prime Minister Indira Gandhi as Maa Durga in the parliament and now people from the Congress party are terming the Prime Minister as Neech, Chaiwla, Aurangzeb and what not.
He is the Prime Minster of the nation not of a party the decorum and the language should always be in check.
“Regardless of the fact that who holds the office of the Prime Minister the sense of speech should never be crossed,” he said.
