DIPR organizes children’s film festival on children’s day

JAMMU, NOV 12: Cultural wing of Department of Information and Public Relations is organizing a film festival for screening of children’s films on various moral and ethical themes. The two days film festival to celebrate children’s day was today started from Ved Mandir, Jammu.
Cultural Officer, Sana Khan, Secretary Ved Mandir, Sudesh Pal, Vice President Ved Mandir, K K Mengi, technical team, staff of cultural wing DIPR and children , staff of the boarding school Ved Mandir were present on the occasion.
As a part of children’s day celebrations, the film festival aims at inculcating moral and ethical principles in children in the age group of 11 to 16 years through the audio visual communication.
The films to be shown during film festival are from Children Films Society and have been provided by Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Government of India.
