Army Public School Kaluchak Celebrates Diwali at their school Premises.

To re-establish the essence of Diwali by being sensitive to the environment i.e Spread Joys not Noise, the students of APS Kaluchak stressed upon celebrating this Diwali with lamps, sweets and togetherness. The students vowed to go green this Diwali.

The celebration of Diwali,'The festival of lights' came alive at APS Kaluchak, on 16 and 17 October 2017. The whole school wore a festive look with earthen lamps and lanterns adorning the corridors in bright colours. A special assembly was organised to mark this crucial occasion.


The skits on mythological characters enacted by the students in Hindi as well as English added the perfect setting to the festivity. The students showcased the spirit of Diwali through a mesmerising dance, which left everyone spellbound. Tastefully decorated school campus added charm and religious fervour to the atmosphere.


The little ones dressed up as different characters from the Ramayana enchanted all and proved to be icing on the cake. The celebration was culminated with a gripping group song by the little bloomers in the special morning assembly. Decorated in vibrant hues, the school had an ambience of joy and happiness.


The Principal, Ms Hem Lata Vishen wished for immaculate eternal happiness for all and emphasized upon the collective efforts to dissuade from the practice of bursting crackers. She appreciated the endeavour of the students and encouraged them to celebrate every festival with the same spirit and enthusiasm.
