Jammu gets its first prenatal, postnatal care clinic ‘Revive’

JAMMU: With an aim to offer the best and most modern specialized services to the people, the Revive Health Care Clinics opened its first clinic in Jammu today.
The clinic aims to educate women on pregnancy care ie., prenatal and postnatal care classes on fitness and complete child birth education. The clinic offers pregnancy yoga, physiotherapy, diet and nutrition counseling and several other programmes intended to the prevention and awareness about non-communicable diseases, which are largely linked with our way of living, dietary habits, lack of exercise etc., will go a long way in ensuring that the country remains healthy.
Speaker, J&K Legislative Assembly, Kavinder Gupta inaugurated the Revive Health Care Clinic at Trikuta Nagar, Jammu in the presence of several senior doctors and other dignitaries of the town.
Renowned doctor, Dr. Sunil Chowdhari, Medical Director and ART Consultant, was the guest of honour on the occasion.
Speaking on the occasion, Kavinder Gupta said, “Jammu being one of the most dynamic towns has always welcomed initiatives, which endorse health and wellness.”
“With a large population of the city being health thoughtful, this specialized health center will cater to the needs of people, who are on the outlook for healthy living,” he said.
While speaking, Dr. Latika Dutta, Center Head and owner of the Clinic, said, “Revive Health Care Clinic will offer a variety of free health and pregnancy care services in the coming weeks as part of the clinic’s inaugural offer for the town.”
“Special activities include free Yoga sessions and, nutrition and diet counseling from 9 to 11 a.m. Monday to Saturday; free blood pressure checks from 1 to 3 p.m on Wednesday; free weight management counseling for women from 3 to 5 p.m. from August 17 will also be made available,” she added.
