Security forces burst teargas shells to disperse demonstrators in a south Kashmir’s Pulwama village, where a search operation was launched against militants today, official sources said. They said security forces and Special Operation Group (SOG) of Jammu and Kashmir police launched a joint search operation at village Trichal in Pulwama following a tip off about the presence of militants. However, when the security forces were sealing the area, people in the nearby localities, mostly youths, hit the streets raising slogans. Inspector General of Police (IGP), Kashmir has recently warned that action will be taken against those who will try to disrupt anti-militancy operation.
