Lok Adalat in Baramulla, Anantnag on Sept 9, Bandipora tomorrow

Lok Adalats to settle cases of different nature will be held in Anantnag and Baramulla districts on September 9 and in Bandipora tomorrow, an official spokesperson said. According to the Chairman District Legal Service Authority (DLSA) Bandipora, a special Lok Adalat, relating to civil, criminal, electricity and other disputes (pending and pre-litigation), will be held in District Court Complex Bandipora. “The interested litigants are accordingly informed to approach the court authorities by or before tomorrow to settle their disputes on scheduled date,” he said. Meanwhile, he said the awareness program on rights of women and senior citizens, which was scheduled to be held today at town hall Bandipora, has been postponed till next announcement by DLSA.

He said, according to chairman District Legal Services Authority Baramulla, a National Lok Adalat is being held in collaboration Tehsil Legal Services committees District Baramulla on September 9, during which the cases of various natures including Criminal, Bank cases, MACT cases, Matrimonial, Electricity and water bills, Revenue and other cases will be settled on spot. The interested litigants, who want to get their cases and disputes settled through this Lok Adalat, shall approach court authorities before the fixed date of Lok Adalat. A National Lok Adalat for amicable settlement of Pre-litigation and pending cases particularly related to civil cases before the court at District Head Quarter Anantnag is scheduled to be held in the District Court Complex Anantnag on September 9, under the Chairmanship of Chairman District Legal Services Authority Anantnag.

All the concerned litigants, who are interested to settle their disputes in the proposed National Lok Adalat, are directed to approach the concerned courts immediately along with the applications so that the list is submitted to this Authority.
