Police-public meet held at Gujjar Nagar Jammu

To aware the Police about their grievances, people of Gujjar Nagar organized a police-public meet here today.
On the occasion, SHO Peer Mitha Javed Malik and SI PP, Gujjar Nagar Sharik, Rafiq Malik, Master Akram, Mohd Hussain Malik and Ayub Malik were also present among other local residents.

Speaking on the occasion, Mohd Hussain Malik expressed serious concern over the increasing incidents of crime, thefts and chain snatching in the area. He also raised the issue of recent attack on the Police officer by some notorious youth of the area.
“In view of forthcoming Independence Day celebrations, which are round the corner, it is very important to maintain communal harmony in the area and it is the duty of police to arrest the culprits, responsible for attacking the senior police officer immediately,” said Malik.

He urged upon the police officers to arrest the accused immediately so that number of crimes in the area get controlled to some extent.
Among others present included Sultan Malik, Dr. Raham Din, Aftab and Arif Noor.
