JK Govt orders transfer of KAS officers

Jammu: The J&K government on Tuesday ordered transfers and postings of several Kashmir Administrative Service (KAS) officers. In five separate notices issued by JKGAD, a total of 16 officers were transferred. Here is the complete list:

1. Mr. Sachin Dev Singh, KAS, Assistant Commissioner Revenue, Jammu, is transferred and posted as Additional Secretary to the Government, Labour and Employment Department.

2. Mr. Gul Hassan Kraipak, KAS, Project Manager, IWMP, Kishtwar, is transferred and posted as Project Officer, Wage Employment (ACD), Ramban, vice Mr. Mohammad Jehangir Khandey, who shall report to the Department of Rural Development and Panchayati Raj.

3. Mr. Shafiq Ahmad, KAS, Project Manager, IWMP, Rajouri, is transferred and posted as Assistant Commissioner Revenue, Shopian, vice Mr. Nisar Ahmad Shad.

4. Mr. Nisar Ahmad Shad, KAS, Assistant Commissioner Revenue, Shopian, is transferred and posted as Assistant Commissioner Revenue, Jammu, vice Mr. Sachin Dev Singh.

5. Mr. Masarat Hashim, KAS, Assistant Commissioner Revenue, Bandipore, is transferred and posted as Sub-Divisional Magistrate, Pattan, vice Mr. Sarfaraz.

6. Mr. Sarfaraz, KAS, Sub Divisional Magistrate, Pattan, is transferred and posted as Assistant Commissioner Revenue, Bandipore, vice Mr. Masarat Hashim.

7. Mr. Suresh Chander, KAS, Project Manager, IWMP, Kathua, is transferred and posted as Sub-Divisional Magistrate, Hiranagar, vice Mr. Sohan Lal.

8. Mr. Sohan Lal, Sub-Divisional Magistrate, Hiranagar, is transferred and posted as Project Manager, IWMP, Kathua, vice Mr. Suresh Chander.

9. Mr. Manzoor Ahmad Sofi, KAS, Joint Director, Employment, Kashmir, is transferred and posted as Joint Director, J&K Institute of Management, Public Administration and Rural Development, against an available vacancy.

10. Mr. Mohammad Farooq Dar, KAS, Additional Secretary to the Government, Public Works (R&B) Department, is transferred and posted as Additional Deputy Commissioner, Budgam, against an available vacancy.

11. Mr. Akramullah Tak, KAS, Additional Secretary to the Government, Floriculture Department, is transferred and posted as Joint Director, Employment, Kashmir, vice Mr. Manzoor Ahmad Sofi.

12. Mr. Mohammad Abdullah Malik, KAS, General Manager, DIC, Kupwara, is transferred and posted as Assistant Commissioner Revenue, Kupwara, against an available vacancy. He shall also hold the additional charge of the post of General Manager, DIC, Kupwara, till further orders.

13. Mr. Shakeel-ul-Rehman Rather, KAS, under orders of transfer as Special Secretary to the Government, Finance Department, is posted as Special Secretary to the Government, Home Department.

14. Mr. Mohammad Shahid Saleem Dar, KAS, Secretary, J&K Services Selection Board, is transferred and posted as Additional Secretary to the Government, Finance Department.

15. Mr. Parvez Sajad Ganai, KAS, under orders of transfer as Deputy District Election Officer, Kulgam, in terms of Government Order No. 587-GAD of 2017 dated 15.5.2017, is posted as Deputy Director, District Employment and Counselling Centre, Srinagar, against an available vacancy. He shall also hold the additional charge of the post of Deputy Director, Rural Sanitation, Kashmir, relieving Ms. Rifat Aftab Qureshi, KAS, Development Officer, Handicrafts (Non-Textile), Srinagar of the additional charge of the post.

16. Anil Kumar Gupta, KAS, Secretary, J&K State Electricity Regulatory Commission, is transferred and posted as Joint Financial Commissioner, Agrarian Reforms in the office of Financial Commissioner, Revenue, against an available vacancy.
