Militants offer gun salute to Lashkar-e-Toiba commander Junaid Mattoo in Khudwani

Srinagar: At least five militants of both Lashkar-e-Toiba (LeT) and Hizb-ul-Mujahideen appeared in the funeral of slain district commander Junaid Mattoo in Khudwani village of Anantnag in south Kashmir and offered a gun salute.

Mourners jostled to touch the faces of militants as they raised their guns to offer a gun salute to the fallen District Kulgam commander of the LeT.

Mattoo was killed along with two associates in a gunfight with forces in Arwani village yesterday.
At least eight rounds of funeral prayers were held for Mattoo due to huge rush of mourners.
