Bijbehara firing not an attack : Police

Srinagar, June 17 : Police on Saturday clarified that there was not any attack on the force’s camp in Bijbehara in south Kashmir.

“It was a stray bullet fired from somewhere,” police said adding “It was not an attack on the camp.”

As reported earlier, firing was heard near the SICOP forces camp in south Kashmir’s Bijbehara.

Local sources said that militants fired some shots towards the camp which was retaliated causing panic in the area.
