Husband murders wife in bordering village of Jammu

Jammu, May 25: A man today murdered his wife in a fit of anger and fled away from the spot in Khour area, on the city outskirts here.

"A woman identified as Geeta Devi (30), was this morning found dead with assault at her home in Phariwala, Khour," police here said. Police said the woman was killed by her husband, identified as Ravinder Kumar, was missing from home. "We have registered a case and started the investigation," police added.

Yesterday, a school teacher was found murdered at her residence in Bakshi Nagar area here.
