Internet services banned in Kashmir for one month
Srinagar, Apr 26: The state Home department head by chief minister Mehbooba Mufti has ordered ban on internet services in Kashmir for one month, sources said. But the order didn’t mention if it includes only mobile internet or all internet providing services.
“Internet services in Kashmir shall not be permitted to be transmitted for a period of one month,” reads a Home department order issued on Wednesday.
Pertinently, internet mobile services are already suspended in Kashmir since April 17, when mass student protests were reported across Kashmir.
