Police recovers stolen AK-47, security alert removed
Jammu: Early this morning Jammu Police recovered AK-47 riffle snatched from a VIP’s PSO late Saturday night near the Tawi bridge of the city. A high alert has been sounded in Jammu and its outskirts after the incident which also has been removed now
The weapon was received from Old Bridge, Jammu Tawi. The police recovered the weapon hidden under the fourth pillar, police on information reached the spot and recovered weapon along with the person.]
The main accused of the incident indentified as Amir also surrendered himself before Police last evening at Shopian yesterday and has identified the location of the weapon .
