Divisional Admin cautions pilgrims against unregistered Umrah operators

SRINAGAR, FEBRUARY 27: Divisional Administration Kashmir Monday warned intending pilgrims not to get attracted to advertisements or announcements in newspapers by unregistered Hajj & Umrah operators.
“Complaints have been received that certain unregistered tour operators are announcing packages for Hajj & Umrah through various advertisements in newspapers. “It has also been learnt that a large number of people are getting attracted to such unregistered tour operators without knowing the ramifications,” a statement of the Divisional Administration said.
Accordingly, Deputy Commissioners of all valley districts have been directed to take cognizance of these complaints and take stern action as per law against unregistered tour operators in their respective jurisdictions.
