Man crushed to death at Nagrota Toll Plaza

Jammu, Feb 22: In a brutal road accident reported last evening at Ban toll plaza in Nagrota, Jammu, a man identified as Surjeet Kumar lost his life.
The accident took place around 1700 hours on Tuesday, when a truck bearing registeration number JK02M/3756 hit this Surjeet Kumar S/o Ram Nath R/o jagti Jhari which resulted in his on spot death.
The deceased was working as a security supervisor at Nagrota Toll Plaza. He was crossing from one counter to the other when the speeding truck dragged the man along with two cars.
The accident site presented a ghastly picture. The truck, running at 100kmph, dragged two cars lined up at the toll plaza upto a distance of 20 metres.
No information regarding the truck driver has been received so far. The body has been shifted to GMC for post-mortem, Meanwhile police has launched a man-hunt to nab the culprit
