Legislative Council passes Resolution on return of Kashmiri migrants

JAMMU, JANUARY 20: The Legislative Council today unanimously adopted a Resolution seeking early return of Kashmiri migrants to the Valley.
The Resolution was moved in the Upper House by the Minister for Education and the Leader of House, Mr Naeem Akhtar.
Speaking on the occasion, the Minister said that Kashmiri Pandits are a part and parcel of the Kashmir’s unique composite culture and every effort would be made to ensure their return with dignity to their roots.
He said Kashmir is incomplete without Pandits adding that Kashmir’s Composite culture and communal harmony is known worldwide.
The House unanimously passed the resolution with voice vote.
