Painting competition held at Baramulla

JANUARY, BARAMULLA19: In the run-up to the 7th National Voter’s Day being celebrated on January 25, a painting competition was held today at Government Girls Higher Secondary School Baramulla in which Deputy Commissioner Dr. Nasir Naqash was the chief guest.
Around 80 students from various educational institutes participated in the competition which was organized by the district administration in collaboration with Education Department.
Deputy District Election Officer, Deputy CEO, Tehsildar Baramulla and other concerned were also present on the occasion.
While terming such programmes as a platform to explore hidden talent of students, the DC highlighted the importance of organizing such programmes and said every individual has got some talent and we should identify this potential and hone it so that they can perform the best.
He also gave away awards to winners of the competition.
